Ketamine-assisted therapy has been shown to be an effective treatment for depression, anxiety, OCD, PTSD, and addiction.
Bloom Psychedelic Therapy’s goal is to provide the best possible environment, psychedelics, and therapy to promote healing and personal growth.
We strive to acheive our goal by merging psychotherapy, psychedelics, and science to ensure you receive the best evidence based mental health treatment available. Psychedelic-assisted therapy has been shown to reduce the symptoms related to depression, anxiety, PTSD, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD), panic disorder, trauma, bipolar disorder and more.
How Ketamine works for your mental health
Balances Brain Chemicals: Ketamine blocks a specific receptor in the brain called the NMDA receptor. This helps to balance the brain chemicals that affect your mood, emotions and feelings.
Helps Your Brain Heal: Ketamine encourages the growth of new connections between brain cells, enhancing neuroplasticity. This can help reorganize parts of the mind that have been suppressed by depression, anxiety and PTSD symptoms.
Works Quickly: Unlike many traditional medications that can take weeks to start working, ketamine often starts to relieve symptoms of depression, anxiety, stress and PTSD within hours. This can be incredibly helpful for people in severe emotional distress or experiencing suicidal thoughts.
Affects Multiple Systems: Besides the NMDA receptor, ketamine also interacts with other parts of the brain that are involved in mood regulation, including opioid receptors, dopamine pathways and AMPA receptors, which may enhance its positive effects.
Bloom Psychedelic Therapy currently offers intramuscular and intranasal racemic ketamine. The area of psychedelic medicine is rapidly evolving as supporting evidence grows and laws evolve. We will expand our medication choices and treatment programs to offer the best evidence-based therapies as they become available to us.
Get started now!
If you are interested in KAT, the first step is to Book a Discovery Call with our Client Care Coordinator to discuss treatment options, cost and answer any questions you have. If after that, you would like to move forward, we will book you in with our physician to start the process.
You will start with a medical and psychiatric assessment to ensure there are no medical concerns in participating in KAT treatment. After that, we’ll work with you to find the best program fit for you.
Alternative to the Discovery Call, you can obtain a referral form for your family physician or community psychiatrist to fill out. Once that referral form is received by us, we will reach out to you to begin your intake process.

What is Psychedelic Medicine?
Psyche is defined as the human soul, spirit, or mind. Delic comes from the Greek root “Delos”, meaning to clear, manifest, or reveal.
By their definition, psychedelics uncover the deeper parts of our mind, where limiting beliefs and repetitive patterns reside. Scientific literature highlights their healing potential for complex mental health issues, as evolving laws open access to those who need these transformative medicines.
Experience transformative healing with our innovative treatment programs. We pair high dose (psychedelic) ketamine sessions with low dose (psycholytic) ketamine psychotherapeutic sessions to effectively treat mental health issues such as depression, anxiety, PTSD and more.
Break free from limiting thought patterns and embrace positive change, supported by our dedicated team of professionals at Bloom Psychedelic Therapy.
